The rift between renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and acclaimed writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar appears to have been resolved.
Following Mahira Khan’s recent admission of fault, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has publicly stated that he has let go of all past grievances.
In a recent appearance on a private podcast, Qamar spoke candidly about his past conflict with Mahira Khan. He revealed that he had even sent her a personal message following her comments.
He stated that Mahira, during her appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, admitted it was a mistake to have tweeted instead of contacting him directly.
Qamar said, “I have always had great respect for Mahira, and she respects me as well. We had the kind of relationship where she could have simply called me if anything I said upset her. ‘Mahira is my all-time favourite,’ and she still is. Even when I criticised her, it caused me pain.”
