ISLAMABAD (DI NEWS) : Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Zafar Ahmad, has said that Kuwaiti investors are showing a strong commitment to enhancing their investment footprint in Pakistan.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Amjad Aziz Malik, Secretary General of the Asian Sports Journalists Federation (AIPS Asia) and President of the Pakistan Sports Writers Federation (PSWF), at the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait. Prominent Pakistani businessman Shamshad Khan Tanoli and former international squash player and coach Ahmed Gul were also present on the occasion.
Ambassador Dr. Zafar Ahmad revealed that several Kuwaiti investors have recently expressed keen interest in new business opportunities in Pakistan. He added that if the government continues to provide a conducive environment and necessary facilities, Pakistan will witness a surge in foreign investments.
Responding to a question, the Ambassador said that the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait is extending every possible assistance to the Pakistani community residing in the country.
Welcoming the Pakistan national football team to Kuwait for the Asian Cup Qualifying match against Afghanistan, Dr. Zafar conveyed his best wishes for their success.
Earlier, Amjad Aziz Malik briefed the Ambassador about the ongoing activities of sports journalists in Pakistan. He also invited a delegation of Kuwaiti journalists to visit Pakistan through the facilitation of the Embassy.
On this occasion, Amjad Aziz Malik presented the Ambassador with the latest issue of China Window Magazine, a publication highlighting the cultural and educational initiatives of the Chinese Cultural Center in Peshawar.
