Samsung’s rumoured Galaxy S27 Pro may use a different processor from the flagship Galaxy S27 Ultra, according to a reported listing on an import-export database.
The listing, spotted by Notebookcheck, reportedly identifies the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 as the processor for the Galaxy S27 Pro, while the Galaxy S27 Ultra is associated with the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
The information concerns international dual-SIM versions of four Galaxy S27 models. These variants are typically sold in European markets, meaning processor configurations in other regions, including the United States, could differ.
Snapdragon variants may bring different performance levels
The two reported chipsets are expected to differ mainly in CPU, GPU and neural processing unit (NPU) performance, with the Extreme version offering higher processing capabilities.
The reported differences also extend to video recording. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 is said to support 8K recording at 60 frames per second and 4K slow-motion recording at 240fps.
The standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, meanwhile, is reportedly limited to 8K at 30fps and 4K recording at 120fps.
The database listing has not established Samsung’s final processor plans, and the information should be treated as an unconfirmed leak. The company has yet to officially announce the Galaxy S27 series or confirm its specifications.
