Security forces have killed three terrorists during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan, drawing praise from President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
The leadership commended the security forces for the successful action and reiterated that operations against terrorist networks will continue until terrorism is completely eliminated from the country.
President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the security forces following the elimination of the three terrorists. He said effective actions by the security forces were weakening terrorist networks and described their operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as commendable.
The president stressed that operations under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision must continue until the complete eradication of terrorism.
“We will thwart the designs of foreign-backed terrorists at all costs,” President Zardari said.
PM vows to continue anti-terror operations
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the security forces for killing three terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan. He said operations against terrorists were dealing a severe blow to terrorist networks and vowed that such actions would continue until terrorism is completely eliminated.
The prime minister said the security forces were determined to eradicate terrorism from across the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He further reiterated that the state remains committed to the complete elimination of terrorist groups
Naqvi commends successful operation
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also commended the security forces for the successful operation against terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan.
Speaking in Lahore, Naqvi praised the professional capabilities of the security forces for eliminating the three terrorists and said the forces remained determined to root out terrorism. He paid tribute to the personnel who thwarted what he described as the nefarious designs of the terrorists, saying the nation takes pride in their sacrifices and courage.
“The nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces,” Naqvi said.
