The preliminary medical report of a foreign woman who allegedly suffered sexual assault in Lahore’s Defence area has been received and indicates sexual assault, police sources said.
Investigators said the medical findings are being considered alongside the woman’s statement and other evidence collected during the investigation. Police said DNA testing will also be conducted after the arrest of the three main suspects.
Police sources said the arrest of three individuals, including a woman allegedly involved in facilitating the incident, has raised questions for investigators about the circumstances surrounding the case.
According to police sources, investigators are examining the woman’s travel history and statements, which they described as requiring further scrutiny. Police also said they have so far found no evidence supporting the woman’s reported clothing business.
Investigators are also examining the reasons for the woman’s three visits to Lahore and her contacts with multiple individuals during her stay in the city.
Investigation continues
The operations and investigation wings of Lahore Police have detained several individuals as part of the inquiry. Police said all aspects of the case are being examined, including the allegations of sexual assault and the circumstances surrounding the reported sexual activity.
Police said the investigation is proceeding on the basis of the woman’s medical report as well as other evidence. Raids are also continuing to apprehend the three main suspects.
Six more people detained
Police said Shahdara Police detained six additional individuals and handed them over to Defence-C Police for questioning.
According to police, the detained individuals are close friends of the prime suspects and had been in contact with those allegedly involved in the incident.
Investigators said the six individuals were traced with the help of mobile phone records and location data. Their interrogation regarding the alleged gang rape and the prime suspects is currently under way.
Police have arrested one of the prime suspects in the case, while two other suspects directly linked to the alleged crime remain at large.
Investigation and Operations teams are conducting raids at different locations to apprehend the remaining suspects.
Police said efforts are continuing to arrest all individuals directly involved in the alleged crime as investigators examine the evidence and the suspects’ links.
New details have emerged in the alleged sexual assault of a foreign woman in Lahore after Samaa TV obtained a copy of her medical report, while police detained six additional individuals in connection with the investigation.
The report records injuries on the victim’s body and states that DNA samples were collected. Police have also arrested one prime suspect, while two others remain at large.

According to the medical report obtained by Samaa TV, signs of pressure were found on the victim’s shoulder, while a wound was also noted on her knee.
The report states that marks found on the woman’s body confirm sexual assault. DNA samples were collected from her body as part of the medical examination and investigation.
The medical team has also referred the victim to a psychologist for further assessment and support.
The medical report states that the victim was under the influence of intoxicants at the time of the incident.
According to the report, the suspects allegedly intimidated the woman by claiming to have high-level connections. The alleged perpetrators are stated to be between 25 and 30 years old.
Moreover, the woman has recorded her statement under Section 164 before a judicial magistrate. The statement was recorded before Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Sagheer at the Lahore Cantt Courts, where the woman was produced under tight security.
According to police, the woman’s statement was recorded over a period of more than one hour. All unauthorised persons were asked to leave the courtroom while the proceedings were under way.
The Defence C Police have registered a case against the accused, while the investigation into the alleged assault is continuing.
