Lebanese Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Hajjar has arrived in Pakistan for a two-day official visit, marking a fresh step in regional engagement.
He touched down at Islamabad airport, where he received a formal welcome from senior Pakistani officials. The visit comes at the invitation of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and centers on talks aimed at boosting cooperation between the two countries.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry greeted the Lebanese minister upon his arrival. The chief commissioner and the inspector general of police were also present at the airport to receive the visiting dignitary. The reception underscored the importance Pakistan attaches to the high-level trip.
During his stay, Al-Hajjar is scheduled to hold meetings with the Pakistani leadership. Discussions will focus on bilateral relations and mutual cooperation, covering areas of shared interest between Lebanon and Pakistan.
Officials on both sides are expected to explore ways to deepen existing ties and identify new avenues for collaboration. The two-day schedule allows time for detailed talks and high-level interactions in the capital.
