The Pakistan Army team secured first position in the Pace Sticking Competition held at the Royal Military Academy in Britain, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) team completed a clean sweep in the competition, claiming all major honours, the ISPR stated. The awards included first place in the overall team trophy category, as well as the Best Pace Sticker and Best Driver awards.
The nine-member Pakistani contingent, led by Major Haider Gulzar, arrived in Britain on 5 June to take part in the annual event, according to the ISPR.
A total of 16 teams representing the armed forces of various countries participated in this year’s competition.
The achievement reflects the high professional standards and excellent training of Pakistan’s armed forces, the ISPR said.
