Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the Israeli strike on Doha, calling it a cowardly attack on Hamas and a grave breach of international laws and norms. The ministry affirmed that Qatar rejects the assault in the strongest terms.
According to the ministry, the attack targeted residential buildings housing members of Hamas’s political bureau. It described the act as a criminal offence and a clear violation of international standards.
The statement warned that the strike posed a serious threat to the safety of Qatari citizens and foreign residents in the country. Qatar declared that it would not tolerate Israel’s irresponsible conduct or any actions that jeopardise the region’s security.
The ministry further emphasised that any act aimed at undermining Qatar’s sovereignty or national security is unacceptable. High-level investigations into the Israeli attack remain underway.
