Deputy Chief of Mission of the Chinese Embassy, Mr. Shi Yuanqiang, highlighted that China-Pakistan agricultural cooperation is entering a new era of depth and scale under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Speaking at the China-Pakistan Agriculture Cooperation Forum, he noted the growing institutional framework, increased agricultural trade—reaching \$390 million in the first five months of 2025—and expanded cooperation in technology, machinery, talent exchange, and biotechnology. With successful protocols enabling Pakistan to export various products to China, including sesame and cherries, both nations are fostering modernization and sustainability in agriculture. Forum speakers emphasized unity, collaboration, and shared benefits in advancing agricultural development under the second phase of CPEC.
