Abdul Aleem Khan highlights CPEC achievements, pushes for cross-border trade

Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, speaking at the SCO Ministerial Summit in China, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to boosting trade via rail, road, and air routes. He emphasized Pakistan’s strategic role in regional connectivity, particularly through CPEC, and highlighted progress in road infrastructure and development of international-standard cargo ports in Gwadar and Karachi. He also stressed the importance of trade corridors with China, Afghanistan, and Iran, and called the proposed Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan Railway Project a transformative step for regional trade.
