Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has assured his people that acquiring nuclear weapons is not Iran’s objective.
“We urge our people to remain patient during this crisis,” he said in a public message.
“We do not seek dominance over anyone and are not an aggressive nation,” he added.
President Pezeshkian accused Israel of systematically targeting Muslim countries, stating, “Israel is attacking Muslim states one by one.”
He also condemned the United States, saying, “By allowing Israeli attacks, the U.S. is engaging in bullying.”
Tensions in Israel: Citizens Told to Remain in Shelters
Due to ongoing missile threats, Israeli citizens have been instructed to stay in shelters throughout the day.
“We are taking refuge in shelters today,” said the U.S. Ambassador to Israel. The U.S. embassy in Israel will also remain closed, the ambassador confirmed.
