The Iranian health ministry said on Sunday that at least 128 people have been killed and around 900 injured in Israeli airstrikes.
According to details, in a statement issued by the ministry, women and children are reported to be among the dead and wounded. It was revealed that multiple urban areas, including residential neighbourhoods in Tehran, were targeted, causing severe damage to civilian infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Iranian border guards have claimed that 40 Israeli drones were shot down near the country’s border.
French President Emmanuel Macron said on Sunday he hopes tensions between Iran and Israel will de-escalate “within the coming hours”, and he has called for the resumption of nuclear talks with Iran.
According to details, Macron expressed optimism that diplomatic efforts may soon restart and stressed the need for open channels of communication.
