Pakistani actor and screenwriter Yasir Hussain has never shied away from sharing his unfiltered opinions, and this time, his target is none other than TV host and actress Nadia Khan.
Known for his theatrical performances and unapologetic humour on social media, Yasir recently criticized Nadia’s rating style on her drama review show, “Kya Drama Hai.”
Nadia Khan, who co-hosts the show alongside veteran actresses Marina Khan, Rubina Ashraf, and Atiqa Odho, frequently shares her thoughts on ongoing Pakistani dramas — evaluating performances, storytelling, casting, and wardrobe, and assigning ratings to each show.
In a recent episode, Nadia mentioned that a famous director called her out for giving relatively high ratings (such as 4 out of 5) despite heavily criticizing a drama. The director reportedly advised her that if a show has major flaws, the rating should reflect that—suggesting a 1 or even a zero instead.
Yasir Hussain reposted this clip on his Instagram story and didn’t hold back. He wrote,
“I give her 1.5 points for her entire acting career and 2.5 for hosting. As for analysis, she’s now 10 points ahead of Arnab Goswami.”
Taking a clear jab at both Nadia’s critique style and the idea that numeric ratings define quality, Yasir added,
Yasir, known for plays like “Monkey Business” and dramas like “Baaghi,” “Dariyacha,” and “Koel,” often uses Instagram as a platform for satire, public commentary, and humor-filled criticism. While fans appreciate his candid nature, this latest comment stirred mixed reactions online — some supported his boldness, while others called it disrespectful.
