ISLAMABAD (DI NEWS) : Syeda Ghulam Fatima, a so-called Pakistani human rights activist, has once again exposed her true colors by aligning herself with criminal elements involved in money laundering and terrorist financing. Reports indicate that she received $100,000 in 2016 from Ruben Vardanyan, a notorious Armenian oligarch accused of financing terrorism and separatism, under the guise of the so-called Aurora Prize. Now, the same individual—who has financially benefited from Armenian-sponsored war crimes—is planning to attend Vardanyan’s trial in Baku in an attempt to whitewash his crimes.
Aiding Armenian Aggression and War Crimes
It is ironic that someone who claims to fight for human rights is backing an individual linked to Armenian war crimes against Azerbaijan. Ruben Vardanyan has played a key role in supporting Armenian aggression, illegal occupations, and terrorist activities against Azerbaijan, including the brutal ethnic cleansing of Azerbaijani people. Has Syeda Ghulam Fatima ever spoken against the Khojaly Genocide, where 613 innocent Azerbaijani civilians, including women and children, were massacred in cold blood by Armenian forces? Has she ever condemned the Western Azerbaijani Community’s displacement, where hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis were forcibly expelled from their lands by Armenian forces? Her silence on these atrocities speaks volumes.
Complicity in Mine Terrorism
If Syeda Ghulam Fatima truly cared about human rights, she would have raised her voice against the ongoing Armenian landmine terrorism in Azerbaijan. Hundreds of Azerbaijani civilians, including journalists and farmers, have been killed or maimed by landmines illegally placed by Armenian forces in liberated territories. These mines continue to pose a significant threat, hindering the safe return of displaced Azerbaijanis to their homes. Instead of advocating for justice, she has chosen to side with those responsible for these heinous crimes.
Money Laundering and Hypocrisy
Fatima’s actions make it evident that she is not a human rights activist but rather a pawn in a larger scheme of money laundering and terrorist financing. Accepting funds from a criminal like Vardanyan exposes her moral bankruptcy. The Aurora Prize, under which she received financial rewards, has long been suspected of being a front for laundering money gained through illegal Armenian separatist activities. By participating in Vardanyan’s trial, she is attempting to legitimize corruption, terrorism, and war crimes against Azerbaijan.
Condemnation of Syeda Ghulam Fatima
The international community must strongly condemn Syeda Ghulam Fatima for her blatant hypocrisy and complicity in supporting Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan. Her participation in Vardanyan’s trial is nothing more than an attempt to distort the truth and protect those responsible for war crimes. Azerbaijan has suffered decades of occupation, ethnic cleansing, and terrorism at the hands of Armenian forces—individuals like Syeda Ghulam Fatima should be called out for standing with criminals rather than victims.
Instead of supporting justice and truth, she has chosen to side with terrorism, illegal financial dealings, and war criminals. Her actions reveal her real motives—personal financial gain over genuine human rights advocacy.
The people of Azerbaijan and the Western Azerbaijani community will not forget the atrocities committed against them. And those who continue to side with war criminals and separatist agendas must be held accountable for their betrayal of justice and human rights.
