ISLAMABAD (DI NEWS) : Pakistan and Qatar have expressed a strong commitment to further strengthening their partnership in law enforcement by sharing valuable best practices, as well as knowledge and expertise in the legal field.
This mutual understanding was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Law Minister, Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Qatar’s Minister of Justice, Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, in Doha. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Second Ministerial Meeting of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), hosted in Qatar.
During their conversation, both ministers explored new opportunities to deepen cooperation in areas such as legal and judicial reform, anti-corruption initiatives, and the promotion of the rule of law. Their discussions were driven by a shared desire to advance regional and global efforts to combat corruption and increase transparency.
Recognizing the growing importance of multilateral cooperation within the OIC, both sides reaffirmed their dedication to working together toward common goals, strengthening ties, and building a more just and transparent future.
