China ready to work with Pakistan on building ‘upgraded version’ of CPEC

ISLAMABAD (DI NEWS) : Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong emphasized China’s commitment to advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and strengthening the China-Pakistan partnership across strategic, economic, and cultural dimensions. Speaking at the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad, he highlighted the solid foundation of bilateral ties, fostered through ongoing cooperation, leadership, and the shared vision for a “China-Pakistan community with a shared future.” CPEC has brought substantial economic benefits, with direct investments, job creation, and infrastructure development, and China is eager to build an “upgraded version” of CPEC, enhancing economic and social cooperation. Praising Pakistan’s resilience and development potential, he reiterated China’s support for Pakistan’s economic growth, poverty alleviation, and talent development.
