Pakistan and China reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) during a symposium on ICT and telecom collaboration held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing.
The symposium, titled “Building Partnerships for Skills Development and Academia–Industry Collaboration,” brought together government officials, technical institutions, and industry representatives from both countries to discuss digital skills, vocational education, and workforce development.
During the symposium, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Pakistan’s National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), China Global Professional and Technical Certification Center (CGPTC), and Tang Chinese Education & Technology Ltd. to enhance cooperation in technical skills training and certification.
The event concluded with presentations and discussions between Pakistani and Chinese TVET institutions on future collaboration opportunities in ICT and telecom sectors.
