Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Qatari’s prime minister hold telephone conversation on regional situation
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who praised Pakistan’s continued efforts for peace in the region.
The two prime ministers held detailed discussions on the regional situation and reaffirmed their resolve to advance diplomatic efforts for peace.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani said Qatar would continue supporting diplomatic efforts under Pakistan’s leadership for regional peace.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said his meetings with the Qatari leadership proved useful in building consensus for peace.
The prime minister said the people of Pakistan were awaiting the visit of the Amir of Qatar to Pakistan and added that the visit would play an important role in further strengthening bilateral ties.
Both leaders also agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations.
