Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the provincial government’s investment conference in Shanghai attracted Pakistani and Chinese investors and resulted in the signing of 34 MoUs, including 10 government-to-government and 24 business-to-business agreements across sectors such as energy, coal and education. He highlighted the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone under CPEC as a key opportunity for Chinese investment, saying the partnerships would promote industrial development, create jobs, strengthen Sindh’s economy and reduce dependence on imports.
