The ICC has received more than 15 million ticket requests for the 2027 Men’s Cricket World Cup in just 12 days, setting a new global record for demand.
Cricket fans from 142 countries have expressed interest in attending the tournament, the ICC said.
Sanjog Gupta said the sharp rise in ticket demand reflected the growing popularity of the Cricket World Cup.
The ICC said the ticket ballot would remain open until midnight on 21 November. Registration is free, and no payment is required to enter the ballot.
