Security forces have killed seven terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, recovering a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from their possession.
According to security sources, several hideouts belonging to the group were also destroyed during operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which are continuing under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.
Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation against terrorists in North Waziristan, eliminating seven during what security sources described as an effective operation.
A significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain terrorists. Security forces also destroyed multiple hideouts belonging to the group as part of the ongoing counterterrorism campaign.
Operations against terrorists are continuing across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision, with security forces maintaining pressure on the group.
PM Shehbaz praises security forces
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to security forces for their successful operations against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The prime minister highlighted the elimination of seven terrorists in the North Waziristan operation and the destruction of multiple hideouts during operations conducted under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision. He also noted that a large quantity of weapons and ammunition had been seized from the terrorists.
Shehbaz reiterated that counterterrorism operations would continue until terrorism was completely eradicated from the country, adding that the government remained committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism.
Naqvi commends security forces
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also commended security forces for the successful intelligence-based operation against terrorists in North Waziristan. He praised the forces for their resolve and professional competence in eliminating terrorists.
He said the nation stood firmly with the brave security forces in their efforts to eradicate terrorism from the country. Naqvi also issued a stern warning to the terrorists, stating that they would find no place to hide anywhere.
The latest operation is part of the ongoing anti-terrorism campaign against in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.
Security forces continue intensive operations against the group, targeting its presence and destroying hideouts as part of efforts to eliminate terrorist threats.
