South African spinner Imran Tahir achieved another remarkable feat in T20 cricket at the age of 47.
Representing Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Tahir took five wickets for just 17 runs against Saint Lucia Kings. His devastating spell helped dismiss Saint Lucia Kings for 119 runs.
With his five-wicket haul, Tahir became the oldest player to take five wickets in men’s T20 cricket.
At 47, his performance showed that his hunger for wickets remains strong.
