A high-level Kuwaiti defence delegation led by Defence Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Saleem Al-Sabah met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
The Kuwaiti delegation included Lieutenant General Khalid Darj Saad Al-Shriaan, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kuwait.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security and bilateral defence cooperation.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional ties and expanding mutually beneficial defence collaboration between Pakistan and Kuwait.
Kuwait praises Pakistan Armed Forces
During the meeting, the Kuwaiti delegation appreciated the professionalism and operational capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
The delegation also acknowledged the contributions of Pakistan’s armed forces towards promoting regional peace and stability.
The meeting reaffirmed the resolve of Pakistan and Kuwait to further strengthen their longstanding bilateral relations and develop them into an enduring defence partnership.
Both sides expressed their commitment to continued cooperation in areas of mutual interest, with the partnership aimed at contributing to regional security and stability.
