Security forces have killed five terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan in Pangjur district of Balochistan.
Sources said the intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Sarkani and Chhidgi areasunder Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. The killed terrorists also included a key commander identified by the sources as Wazir, son of Jamal.
Security forces recovered four motorcycles, machine guns, heavy weapons and ammunition during the operation.
The terrorists killed in the operation were allegedly involved in robberies, extortion, kidnappings and other terrorist activities targeting local traders and residents in Panjgur.
A clearance operation is continuing in the area to locate and eliminate any other suspected militants linked to Fitna al-Hindustan, the sources said.
Security forces remain committed to eliminating the militant network from Balochistan, according to security sources.
