Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that Pakistan’s national progress cannot be derailed by propaganda, misinformation, or foreign-sponsored terrorism.
He reaffirmed the armed forces’ commitment to eliminating all forms of militancy with the full support of the people.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the Quetta Garrison and addressed officers and faculty members at the Command and Staff College.
During his visit, he reviewed training standards and praised the institution for its professionalism, intellectual capability, and high-quality military education.
The Field Marshal highlighted the rapidly evolving nature of modern warfare and stressed the importance of adapting to new technologies and multi-domain operations.
He urged officers to continuously upgrade their skills to effectively respond to future security challenges and changing battlefield dynamics.
Commitment to counterterrorism
Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed to eliminating terrorism in all its forms.
He said this mission would continue with the complete support of the public, emphasizing unity as a key strength of the nation.
Message on propaganda, stability
He stated that Pakistan’s development journey cannot be stopped by propaganda, fake news, or externally sponsored terrorism.
According to him, attempts to destabilize the country through proxies and misinformation will fail due to national unity and institutional strength.
The Field Marshal stressed the importance of sustainable peace and stability in Balochistan.
He said long-term development depends on public welfare, socio-economic progress, and good governance.
He also appreciated the efforts of the provincial government in improving public services and strengthening the relationship between the state and citizens.
