ISLAMABAD (DI NEWS) : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China hosted the inaugural “Outstanding Diplomats Award” ceremony in Beijing, honoring ambassadors and diplomats who have made significant contributions towards strengthening relations with China and promoting international friendship and cooperation.
The prestigious ceremony was attended by senior Chinese officials, diplomats, and representatives from various countries. Wang Yi presented the awards to a select group of ambassadors in recognition of their efforts in enhancing diplomatic engagement, mutual understanding, and people to people exchanges with China.
The diplomats honored during the ceremony included ambassadors from Pakistan, Russia, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Colombia, and Uruguay.
Addressing the gathering, Wang Yi said China highly values friendship and cooperation with countries around the world and deeply appreciates diplomats who actively work to strengthen bilateral ties and mutual trust. He stated that China will always welcome its friends and partners to continue engaging with the Chinese people and contributing towards global peace, development, and cooperation.
The Chinese Foreign Minister emphasized that diplomacy is not only about state to state relations but also about building bridges between peoples, cultures, and civilizations. He thanked all ambassadors and diplomatic representatives for their constructive role in promoting dialogue, understanding, and international cooperation.
During the event, several diplomats highlighted the importance of stronger global collaboration, cultural exchanges, and sustainable partnerships in today’s rapidly changing international environment.
Speaking on the occasion, the ambassadors thanked the Chinese Foreign Ministry for the recognition and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening relations with China in diverse fields including economy, trade, culture, education, technology, and regional connectivity.
The ceremony reflected China’s continued emphasis on friendship based diplomacy and its commitment to fostering long term partnerships with countries across the world through mutual respect, cooperation, and shared development.
