The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has confirmed that a tri-nation One Day International series, featuring Pakistan and England, will be held in Pakistan later this year.
Sources disclosed on Wednesday that the series is scheduled for October and November, with arrangements now certain. The SLC has affirmed its participation during the forthcoming tour of Pakistan, while England had already conveyed its consent to take part.
The schedule for the tri-nation series is to be finalised shortly, sources added.
Ahead of the ODI series, Sri Lanka are also set to play three Twenty20 internationals during their tour of Pakistan.
In accordance with the Future Tours Programme, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are also scheduled to contest two Test matches as part of the World Test Championship.
