Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held phone conversations with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday, April 15.
Wang said that China supports Iran in safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and national dignity.
Araghchi complimented China’s consistent efforts to ease tensions and de-escalate the situation, and added that he looks forward to China playing a positive role in promoting peace and ending the conflict.
