LAHORE: Pakistan has issued more than 2,800 visas to Sikh pilgrims from India for the upcoming Baisakhi festival and the 327th Khalsa Janam Din celebrations.
The pilgrims are expected to participate in the annual Baisakhi Mela scheduled to take place from April 10 to 19, 2026.
According to official sources, the pilgrims will visit key religious sites including Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Hasan Abdal, Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, and Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib. The Indian pilgrims are set to arrive via the Wagah Border on April 10, while the main ceremony will be held on April 14 at Gurdwara Panja Sahib.
