Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng met with French Finance Minister Roland Lescure on Monday after China-US economic and trade talks concluded in Paris.
The two sides exchanged in-depth views on recent economic and financial cooperation between the two countries as well as issues of common concern.
He, China’s lead person in the China-France High Level Economic and Financial Dialogue, said that China is willing to work with France to further deepen economic and financial cooperation and exchanges in various fields, and promote the steady and long-term development of China-France economic relations.
He also briefed Lescure on China-US economic and trade talks upon request.
Lescure, France’s lead person in the dialogue, said France attaches great importance to cooperation with China and is willing to work with the Chinese side to advance pragmatic cooperation in economic and financial fields and achieve greater progress.
