Tremors were felt in the Kalat district of Balochistan, spreading fear among residents.
According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 4.6 on the Richter scale and had a depth of 25 kilometres. Officials said the epicentre lay about 27 kilometres south-east of Kalat.
Initial reports indicated no loss of life or property. The relevant authorities are monitoring the situation.
