Islamabad, Special Report: The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan celebrated the Chinese New Year by distributing gifts at various locations across Islamabad, spreading joy and reinforcing the spirit of Pakistan China friendship.
The first ceremony was held at Sweet Home Islamabad, where children were presented with special gifts. The event created a festive atmosphere, and the smiles on the faces of the children reflected the warmth and goodwill behind the initiative. Organizers described the activity as a gesture of friendship and compassion at the people to people level.
A second ceremony took place at the Children Ward of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, where gifts were distributed among children undergoing treatment. The presents included Pakistan China themed badges, panda and horse toys, storybooks for children, and other items. The children and their families appreciated the thoughtful gesture by the Chinese Embassy.
Later, gifts were also distributed among children and women at restaurants and public parks in the F 11 sector. The initiative was widely welcomed by the public and was seen as a meaningful effort to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and goodwill between Pakistan and China during the festive season.
