Pakistan Shaheens won the Asia Cup Rising Stars title after a tense contest against Bangladesh A that ended in a super over at West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Sunday.
Pakistan set a target of 126 in twenty overs. Saad Masood scored 38, while Arafat Minhas added 25. Bangladesh replied with 125 for nine, with Rakibul Hasan’s 24 and Habibur Rahman Sohan’s 26 keeping the chase alive before the match finished level.
Ahmed Daniyal decided the super over by taking two wickets for six runs, as Bangladesh reached only 6. Masood and Maaz Sadaqat guided Pakistan to 8 without loss to secure the title.
The match took place in the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025/26 season. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field.
