Pakistan ODI captain Shaheen Shah Afridi said on Tuesday that the Pakistan batters bat well in the tough conditions against South Africa in the first ODI at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Tuesday.
Expressing his thoughts in a presentation ceremony, Shaheen said: “The dew factor has no affect on the match.” He acknowledged the 91-run partnership between Salman Ali Agha and Mohammad Rizwan.
He hoped that the next match will not be so close. Speaking about the jam-packed at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, Shaheen said: “The spectators in Faisalabad have stolen the spotlight.”
It is pertinent to note that Faisalabad hosted an international match for the first time after more than 17 years, where the Green Shirts emerged victorious by two wickets.
