Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, often hailed as the “King of Bollywood,” treated his fans to a thrilling surprise on his 60th birthday with the release of the first teaser of his much-awaited film, King.
The teaser, which runs for 1 minute and 11 seconds, showcases Khan in a striking grey-haired avatar, captivating audiences with his piercing gaze and intense screen presence.
Shah Rukh Khan reunites with director Siddharth Anand, known for hits like Pathaan and War, bringing back his signature action style and high-energy sequences. Fans were quick to praise the teaser’s fast-paced visuals, adrenaline-fueled action, and powerful background score that mirrors Anand’s filmmaking flair.
In one standout moment, Khan delivers a gripping dialogue in Hindi:
“Kitne khoon kiye, yaad nahi. Achhe log the yaa bude, kabhi pucha nahi. Bass unki aankhon mein ehsaas dekha ki ye unki aakhri saas hain. Aur mein uski wajah.”
The line, paired with his commanding demeanor, instantly became a fan favorite across social media.
SRK shares screen with Suhana Khan for first time
King holds special significance for Shah Rukh Khan as it marks his first on-screen collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, Saurabh Shukla, and Jaideep Ahlawat, adding a stellar lineup to the cast.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, King draws inspiration from the 1994 French classic Léon: The Professional, which revolves around a hitman who becomes a young girl’s guardian after her family’s death.

Speaking earlier about the project, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that director Siddharth Anand has been strict about keeping details under wraps.
“Siddharth Anand is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. I can’t tell you but I can assure you that it will be entertaining. The team is working very hard. We are making a great film for everyone,” Khan said.
