Preparations for new 10-year agreements for Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises have entered their final stages.
Representatives of a chartered firm presented a valuation report to the PCB chairman during a meeting. PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer and Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmad Syed attended the meeting. The PCB chairman instructed the chartered firm to meet all franchises.
The new franchise agreements will be based on the valuation report. The chartered firm will assign updated values to the franchises. Contracts for six PSL teams will expire in December.
From the 11th season, the number of franchises in the league will increase to eight. The PCB has confirmed that new agreements will be concluded only with eligible franchises.
