Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski vowed to take bilateral relations “to new heights” based on mutual respect, equality, and shared strategic interests.
During a joint press conference on Thursday, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan–Poland relations, emphasizing economic, trade, and political collaboration.
Discussions focused on expanding partnerships in energy, infrastructure, mining, and defense sectors, with both sides expressing optimism about future cooperation.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar welcomed his Polish counterpart at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, underscoring the historic and friendly relations between the two nations. “Pakistan enjoys strong relations with Poland built on mutual respect and understanding,” Dar said.
Poland expresses appreciation and support
Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski thanked Pakistan for its “wonderful hospitality” and described the talks as “fruitful and forward-looking.”
He highlighted discussions on trade and economic collaboration and welcomed the signing of new Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors.
“Cooperation in the mining and energy sectors was also discussed,” Sikorski added, reaffirming Poland’s interest in exploring joint ventures and technology sharing.
Shared stance on regional and global peace
Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues, including the situations in Kashmir and Palestine.
Sikorski reiterated Poland’s support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and emphasized the need for peace in Gaza under the UN Charter. He also expressed Poland’s desire for a stable and peaceful South Asia, calling for diplomatic solutions to regional conflicts.
At the delegation-level meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthen political dialogue and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
