Bollywood star Arbaaz Khan is celebrating fatherhood once again at the age of 58.
His wife, makeup artist Sshura Khan, recently gave birth to a baby girl — marking a new and heartwarming chapter in his life, 22 years after welcoming his first son, Arhaan, with ex-wife Malaika Arora.
Reports confirm that both mother and daughter are healthy. The news has stirred a wave of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities, while also sparking conversations about the realities of becoming a father later in life.
Becoming a father at a mature age is becoming increasingly common, but it carries both emotional rewards and medical considerations.
Malaika Arora’s emotional reflection
As news of Arbaaz’s new chapter spread, his ex-wife Malaika Arora made headlines for an emotional revelation about her son Arhaan during a public event in Hyderabad.
When asked who her favorite person in the industry was, Malaika replied, “I can’t name just one, but the most favorite person in my life is my son. He is my biggest love.”
The statement came shortly after her reflections on her marriage and divorce in an earlier interview with Pinkvilla. “Of course, I wanted my marriage to last forever, but it couldn’t. That doesn’t mean I lost faith in love. I did what I felt was right, and today, I’m a happier person,” she had said.
Arbaaz and Malaika first met in the late 1990s during a coffee commercial shoot. They married in 1998, welcomed their son Arhaan in 2002, and eventually parted ways in 2017 after 18 years together.
Following their separation, both have continued to co-parent their son amicably. Malaika has been linked with actor Arjun Kapoor, while Arbaaz found companionship with Sshura Khan, a professional makeup artist.
