Four India-backed terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in Mastung district, Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Security personnel acted on information concerning operatives from the group referred to as “Fitna al-Hindustan”. A gun battle broke out during the raid on the militants’ hideout, resulting in the deaths of four individuals.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the site. The deceased were involved in multiple incidents of violence in the region. A clearance operation remains underway to locate any remaining militants.
PM Shehbaz commends forces
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces following the successful operation. He praised their action against the four militants linked to “Fitna al-Hindustan”, and affirmed that the nation stands united with its armed forces in the fight against terrorism. He reiterated the country’s resolve to eliminate all forms of terrorism.
Interior minister praises action
Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi also commended the forces for foiling the nefarious plans of India-sponsored militants. He expressed pride in the bravery of the personnel and conveyed appreciation for their effective action.
