Adidas has unveiled the new official match balls for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Women’s Champions League, which are both apparently manufactured in Pakistan.
The launch happened shortly after the conclusion of the Champions League play-off matches.
According to Adidas, the men’s Champions League ball is inspired by the night sky, whereas the women’s edition is inspired by deep space and the Northern lights. Both designs pay tribute to football stars as they prepare for the finals, which will be held in Budapest and Oslo in May.

The men’s ball has a striking gold and blue finish, accented by hand-drawn gold zodiac signs representing heroism and destiny. The women’s ball features dark purple between the white stars, with neon green gradients and flowing designs inspired by the Northern Lights. Luminous pink and white stars complete the look, echoing the brilliance of deep space.
Both balls bear the Adidas Badge of Sport and the official Champions League logos, rounding out a design that captures the essence of the tournament.
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, the new balls incorporate cutting-edge technology for peak performance. The innovative PRISMA surface with a debossed pattern enhances precision and swerve, while the outer coating provides a secure grip and complete control. The thermally bonded seamless design improves durability and consistency on the field.
The ball’s core is the groundbreaking CTR-CORE, which is designed for accuracy and shape retention. This core is made up of a zero-waste natural rubber bladder and a carcass reinforced with PES fabric, which provides strength and stability.
The 2025/26 editions are also the most environmentally friendly in the tournament’s history. Adidas has used recycled polyester, water-based inks, and a greater proportion of bio-based materials, such as corn fibers, sugar cane, wood pulp, and rubber, while maintaining performance.
