Section 144 has been enforced for one day in the Birmal tehsil of South Waziristan Lower due to security concerns and the movement of forces in the area.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, the restriction will be in effect from 6 am to 7 pm on Monday. All forms of movement will be prohibited during this period.
All markets, including Raghzai Bazaar, will remain closed. Travel has also been banned on the Angoor Adda, Zam China, Khamrang, Raghzai and Sholam to Wana routes.
Travel will only be allowed in emergency situations, and that too with prior permission from the security forces.
The Home Department has directed citizens to stop their vehicles at a distance of 100 metres upon sighting a vehicle belonging to the forces.
