The Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PHMA) has confirmed that textile industry has witnessed an increase of $400 million.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, the PHMA has issued a report, the textile exports in July this year were worth $1.67 billion as compared to $1.27 billion in the same month in 2024.
The exports have surged by 32 per cent in the last month, said the PHMA. Meanwhile, the made-up garments’ exports witnessed a surge of 45.38, while the knitwear garments’ exports increased by 43.50 per cent.
Moreover, the bedware garments’ exports surged by 38%, while the ready-made garments increased by 35%.
