Renowned host and actor Sahir Lodhi has finally broken his silence after fellow celebrities made fun of his viral “Jee Bhai” videos circulating on social media.
The clips, where Lodhi humorously presents everyday situations, have become a trending topic, sparking both praise and trolling.
After Sahir Lodhi’s videos gained popularity, actors including Ijaz Aslam, Faisal Qureshi, Yasir Nawaz and comedian Tabish Hashmi recreated his style in a lighthearted manner. These parody clips quickly went viral, with social media users joining in on the trend.
However, not everyone supported the trolling. Actress Mehwish Hayat voiced concern, saying it was unfair to ridicule someone who has worked hard to earn his place in the industry.
Sahir Lodhi’s reaction
Speaking about the matter, Lodhi said he does not intend to stop anyone from expressing their opinion:
“Whether people love me or hate me, it is their right. Allah has given every human being freedom of opinion, so I cannot stop anyone from expressing it.”
He admitted that while some of the remarks hurt him, he believes his colleagues made the parody videos in good humor. Lodhi emphasized he would never respond in the same mocking manner.
Gratitude for support
Sahir Lodhi especially thanked Mehwish Hayat for her kind words during this time:
“Mehwish said supportive things for me in a difficult time, and I am grateful to her from the bottom of my heart. We worked together years ago, and she is still as kind and dignified as ever.”
In Sahir Lodhi’s videos, he often acts out daily life moments, such as preparing for meetings or staying busy. Each skit begins with the cameraman entering the room, prompting Lodhi to jokingly say, “You’re back again” before continuing with his monologue.
