Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss a wide range of bilateral matters, according to a statement from the Foreign Office on Monday.
The two sides reviewed the state of Pakistan-US relations and exchanged views on various regional and international developments.
The discussion underscored the commitment of both countries to continued cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The Foreign Office said both leaders expressed their desire to maintain regular diplomatic contact and deepen engagement across multiple sectors.
This marks the second high-level interaction between Senator Dar and Secretary Rubio in recent weeks.
On July 29, the two had a similar conversation focused on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring avenues of cooperation.
