A legal row has erupted in the Pakistani entertainment industry after actress Alizeh Shah served a defamation notice to fellow actress Minsa Malik, accusing her of character assassination, spreading false allegations and attempting to damage her public image.
In a legal notice, Alizeh Shah has demanded a public apology from Minsa Malik within 48 hours, alleging that Malik made “false, baseless, and malicious” claims that have damaged her public reputation and mental wellbeing.
The actress also shared photographs of the legal notice on her verified Instagram account, confirming legal action had been initiated.
The notice further claims that Malik attempted to malign Alizeh Shah by sharing fake videos, using derogatory language, and even physically assaulting her during the shooting of a drama serial. “Minsa Malik not only slapped me on set but also used inappropriate language and spread fabricated stories online,” the notice reads.
The feud between the two actresses dates back to an incident that occurred during the filming of a drama several years ago, which reportedly ended in a physical altercation. Actor Sami Khan is said to have confirmed the scuffle at the time, stating that tensions between the two women were apparent on set.
Alizeh Alizeh Shah, who has recently become more vocal on social media about issues within the entertainment industry, has accused several individuals of unethical behaviour, including veteran singers Shazia Manzoor and Jagan Kazim. In recent days, Alizeh Shah has been sharing what she calls “evidence” against various figures in showbiz, claiming to expose long-standing mistreatment.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Alizeh Shah alleged that the situation with Malik has intensified, claiming she has received threatening messages and anonymous calls after Malik allegedly shared her personal phone number with a third party based in Dubai.

“Three years ago, this same woman tried to defame me,” Alizeh Shah wrote. “Everything I have today, I have earned with dignity and hard work. Those who live on haram earnings neither fear God nor the consequences of their actions.”
Alizeh Shah also posted screenshots of phone calls and messages received from unidentified numbers, alleging harassment and claiming that the individual who contacted her from Dubai made “unacceptable offers” after obtaining her number from Minsa Malik.
The legal notice has demanded that Malik remove all defamatory content posted on social media and issue a formal apology, failing which further legal action would be taken.
There has been no immediate response from Minsa Malik regarding the allegations or the legal notice.
While such public disputes are not new in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, this legal turn of events has triggered debate on social media, with fans and industry insiders weighing in on the deteriorating dynamics behind the camera.
