The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has won the prestigious “Concours d’Elegance” and “Spirit of the Meet” awards at the Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 (RIAT25).
Held at RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom, RIAT is considered one of the world’s largest and most prestigious military airshows, drawing participation from over 30 countries.
According to an official statement released by the PAF, the indigenously produced JF-17C Block III fighter jet was awarded the coveted “Spirit of the Meet” trophy in recognition of its outstanding flight performance and technical display.
The aircraft, representing the latest generation of the JF-17 Thunder series co-developed by Pakistan and China, impressed judges and international observers with its precision flying, advanced avionics, and maneuverability.
Meanwhile, the PAF’s C-130 Hercules transport aircraft secured the “Concours d’Elegance” award for best overall appearance and presentation.
Adorned with a special paint scheme highlighting Pakistan’s operational legacy and air force heritage, the aircraft attracted significant attention from spectators and fellow participants.
