Earthquake tremors were felt in Kalat district of Balochistan and its surrounding areas on Monday, sparking panic among residents who rushed out of their homes in fear.
According to the National Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.4 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was located 43 kilometers southeast of Kalat, and it struck at a depth of 40 kilometers beneath the earth’s surface.
The tremors created a moment of fear and anxiety. However, no loss of life or property has been reported so far.
Local authorities confirmed that the district administration is actively monitoring the situation, and emergency response teams have been placed on alert to address any unforeseen developments.
