The work has been started to replace old floodlights with the modern LED lights at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.
According to details that surfaced on Tuesday, the floodlights that had been installed for years at the stadium had been removed. Many of the matches – domestic and international – had been hosted at the Pindi stadium under these floodlights.
Many of the high-voltage clashes of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) had been hosted at the Pindi stadium under these floodlights.
It is reported that the work to install modern LED lights will be started within the next few days.
