National hero Arshad Nadeem arrived in Lahore today from South Korea after winning a gold medal in the javelin throw event at the Asian Athletics Championships.
He was given a rousing welcome at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Arshad was received by his father Muhammad Ashraf, along with family members, friends, and a large number of enthusiastic supporters.
Speaking to the media, his father expressed pride in his son’s achievement, saying, “My son has made us proud before and he has done so again today.”
He went on to say, “I am grateful to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for providing Arshad with the best possible facilities.”
He said that Arshad Nadeem’s consistent hard work and determination have brought pride to the entire nation.
Arshad was accompanied on his return by fellow national athletes Yasir Sultan and Shajar Abbas.
