Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has thanked China for extending its support to Pakistan during the India crisis.
According to details, Iqbal hosted a luncheon in an honour of the Chinese envoy. On this occasion, Iqbal said: “China has always stood with Pakistan during every hardship.”
Iqbal said: “This friendship between Pakistan and China is not temporary, but it is a sustainable relationship based on confidence and mutual respect.”
He added, “The Chinese envoy acknowledged the revival of peace and stability in the region.”
Meanwhile, according to the communiqué, the Chinese ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s role as a responsible country during its conflict with India.
“Permanent peace in the region will bring positive outcomes for Pakistan,” the Chinese envoy said.
The Chinese envoy extended full support for steering Pakistan towards development.
